Five people died Sunday on Moldova's roads

Five people, including two minors, died in traffic accidents on Moldova's roads on Sunday, the police reported. In Cantemir, a 7-year-old was killed after a Renault car driven at high speeds crashed into a horse-drawn carriage in which the boy was traveling with his parents. The adults on the carriage were hospitalized. On Bucovat – Nisporeni roadway, the driver of a VAZ-2109 car lost control over the vehicle which ended up capsized. The driver, 45, and his passenger, 17, died on the scene. On Edinet – Branzeni roadway, a man aged 39 died after the car he was traveling in collided with a tree. A similar case happened in Ciobanovca village, Anenii-Noi, district, where 56-year-old driver lost his life. A day earlier, an accident killed a 30-year-old driver of a BMW car. Relatives reported the man had been celebrating the receipt of the Romanian citizenship so it's not excluded he was drunk while driving.
