Flights between Chisinau and Munich launched today

A CRJ-900 aircraft will transport passengers along the Chisinau – Munich route. The first flight from Munich landed on the Chisinau International Airport today, April 28. The passengers were welcomed by Iulia Kahrl, ad interim charge d'affaires of the Federal Republic of Germany in Moldova, and Stefan Versemann, director general of Lufthansa in Romania and Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. “We are very glad about the opening of the daily flights between Chisinau and Munich. The new route will connect Moldova's capital with Munich, while from Munich the plane will fly along the extended network of routes provided by Lufthansa,” said Stefan Versemann. The flight LH3257 will take off from Chisinau at 13.10 and land in Munich at 14.35. From Munich, the plane will set off at 9.00 and land in Chisinau at 12.20. A tickets costs €229 (all-inclusive). An Airbus A319 will start flying on the route from July 1. In 2009, the Chisinau International Airport provided services for 809,072 passengers. The largest number of passengers was recorded in August – 102,223, while the lowest one in February – 43,576.
