Minister of Health Vladimir Hotineanu Thursday said the people living in the flood-stricken areas started to be vaccinated against viral hepatitis A so as to prevent an epidemic, Info-Prim Neo reports. Vladimir Hotineanu said the Ministry of Health is also taking steps to prevent other diseases that might spread when the floodwater recede. The plan of measures was drawn up in concert with the State Veterinary Inspectorate. The minister assured there are enough disinfectants. The people in the flood-hit areas are provided with drinking water daily. The wells there have been disinfected.
