The Ministry of Finance will allocate 1.36 million lei from the special account opened to collect funds for flood victims for distributing them to the persons affected by floods, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a Government Decision approved on Wednesday. A flood victim will receive by 500 lei. The money will be transferred to the district councils of Hancesti, Briceni, Cantemir, Nisporeni and Ungheni. They will bear responsibility for accurately drawing up the lists of recipients and distributing the money. Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta said this is the third tranche allocated from the special account. The first two tranches totaled 2.69 million lei. The Government also decided to allocate 180,000 lei from the same account to the Ministry of Education for covering the costs related to the temporary accommodation of the flood victims at schools in Hancesti district. The money will go to pay salaries, for public utilities, for the repair of the canteen where the flood victims eat.
