The Government approved the regulations concerning the allocation of financial resources for compensating for the damage caused by this summer’s floods to families. Compensations will be given only to persons who will not receive bought or newly-built houses from the state, Info-Prim Neo reports. The damage will be assessed by a working group composed of representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Construction and Territorial Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, and the State Agency on Land Relations and Cadastre. The executive also decided to allocate 620,000 lei for repairing the dormitory of the Hancesti Construction College and purchasing furniture for it. About 200 flood victims will remain to live there until the new houses are ready.
