Members of the Communist Party (PCRM), Komsomolists and veterans laid flowers at the monument to Lenin on the occasion of 94 years of the Bolshevik Revolution, Info-Prim Neo reports.
PCRM head Vladimir Voronin said the party has always fought for the socialist ideas and harshly criticized the parties that fight for capitalist ideas. “Socialism is the road to development for all the countries. Not now, not in a year or ten, but the road to development will anyway go to socialism, not to the wild capitalism,” said Vladimir Voronin.
Constantin Carnat, the head of the Veterans Organization based in Chisinau’s Centru district, said this day signifies the start of a better life for every citizen. “Many of us remember the time when a rural child was able to complete academic studies. Today this is not possible. In the Soviet period, every person was sure of their future and the future of their families, but now we cannot say this,” said the veteran.
Eliza Moscalchuk, secretary of the Central Committee of the PCRM’s Youth Organization, said that the day of November 7 is a symbol of the creation of a new state that takes care of every citizen, not only of the elite. “It is a symbol of the modern fight for human rights. We, the young people will be near the PCRM, for equality and freedom. Unfortunately, the power sometimes attracts weak persons who are political traitors,” she said.
Anatolie Zelenchuk, one of the young people who took part in the event, said that the day of November 7 is an example how they should struggle for communism. “We, the Komsomolists of Moldova, aim to fight for the ideas of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. We are ready to build a state based on socialist ideas. Together we are a power,” he said.
Today it is 94 years of the event known as the October Revolution or the Bolshevik Revolution, which was a coup whereby the Bolsheviks took over the power in Russia.
