The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration calls on the Moldovan people, carriers and travel agencies to avoid organizing or going on trips to Egypt given the tense social-political situation in this country and the declaration of a state of emergency there, IPN reports.

The Ministry recommends the Moldovan people who are in Egypt to avoid the crowded areas. In a communiqué, it says that the Moldovans who face difficulties in Egypt in connection with the recent events can seek help from the Embassy of Moldova in Ankara, the Consulate General of Moldova in Istanbul and the Ministry’s General Consular Affairs Division.
