The talks on the liberalization of the visa regime between Moldova and the EU will open in Luxembourg on June 15, Premier Vlad Filat announced in a news conference on March 29, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. Vlad Filat said the talks on the liberalization of the visa regime for the Moldovan travelers will take place within the EU-Moldova interparliamentary commission in Luxembourg. “We will try to free our citizens from the visas required for the EU,” Filat said. In the same news conference, the First Secretary of the EU's Delegation to Moldova Wolfgang Behrendt said the obtaining of a liberalized visa regime by Moldova will represent a step towards the European integration.
