A number of filling stations posted lower fuel prices in the morning of December 11. The price of gasoline declined by 0.4 lei/liter, while that of diesel fuel – by 0.6 lei/liter on average. Seven oil companies, four of which import fuels, notified the National Agency for Energy Regulation of price decreases.
The Agency’s press officer Anatol Barbei has told IPN that the average selling price of gasoline at the seven companies fell to 17.33 lei/liter, while that of diesel fuel – to 14.95 lei/liter.
The last time this year, the retail prices of gasoline and diesel fuel decreased at the beginning of November, by an average of 0.25 lei/liter and, respectively, 0.30 lei/liter.
According to the National Agency for Energy Regulation, there are 86 companies in Moldova that hold licenses allowing retailing gasoline and diesel fuel. These products are sold at 624 filling stations all over the country.
