The future of the minibus route 115 in Chisinau remains uncertain. After the chief of municipal police, Silviu Musuc announced during the City Hall operative meeting on Monday that a request was sent to the Licensing Chamber to withdraw the route administrator’s license because of multiple irregularities; the Licensing Chamber claims it did not receive any such request. Director of the Licensing Chamber Valentin Guznac told Info-Prim Neo that no request regarding this case has been made. Guznac says that the institution’s agents will inspect the registered irregularities only when they will receive this notification, and will then issue a prescription. Consequently, the route administrator will have three days to inform if things the Chamber of the veridicity of the charges. Afterwards, the Licensing Chamber will decide in a period of 5 days whether the license should be revoked or not. The chief of Municipal Police told Info-Prim Neo that they did submit a request to withdraw the license of the administrator of route 115 to the Licensing Chamber. Head of the municipal Public Transport and Roads Division Adrian Boldurescu assured that if the route 115 administrator’s license would be withdrawn, passengers would not be affected. The route would be put under the management of another administrator. His responsibility will be the main criterion of selection: the one with the least irregularities committed and complaints submitted by passengers will be chosen. During Monday’s City Hall meeting, the chief of municipal police said that a route 115 minibus had been involved in a road accident. The driver did not have a minimum of three years of experience as required for driving a route minibus. Moreover, he did not pass a medical test before driving, nor did the vehicle pass the technical testing.
