The Government annulled the order made by the minister of agriculture, regional development and environment concerning the transfer of units of agricultural machinery from the public institution “Agriculture Mechanization Improvement Center” to three enterprises managed by the Ministry of Agriculture, IPN reports.
The decision was made in a move to implement the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of Japan by which the Japanese state provided a technical assistance grant for a project to improve the Center’s equipment.
The Agriculture Mechanization Improvement Center signed contracts with another six regional centers by which the regional associations were transmitted agricultural machines from the Japanese funds and the beneficiaries were to organize free training courses for mechanics. On June 18 this year, without assessing the impact of the contracts, the minister of agriculture, regional development and environment ordered to terminate these and to transfer the agricultural machines free to the Ministry.
