The executive on June 16 approved the text of the resignation that will be submitted to Parliament, IPN reports.

The procedure for offering the resignation is defined in Article 100, par. 3 of the Constitution of the Republic of Moldova and in Article 6 of the Law on the Government.

Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici announced his resignation on June 12, arguing he does not want to be accused of influencing the investigation over his diploma. He didn’t say whether the diploma was falsified or not, but specified that all the people are equal and justice is one for all.
