The executive has assumed responsibility for the draft law to amend a number of legal acts that define the fiscal and customs policy for 2015, the 2015 draft state budget law, draft state social insurance budget law and draft mandatory health insurance funds law.

Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici said the country is in an economic crisis and stability must be ensured. On the other hand, it’s not certain that some of the provisions of these documents will be supported by Parliament given that the government is a minority one.

The vote in favor of the Government assuming responsibility was unanimous.

If Parliament afterwards votes against at least one of the bills for which the Government assumed political responsibility, the executive will have to resign. A censure motion can be submitted with 72 hours.
