The mayors of Moldova will come together for a meeting in the Government Building on January 22. The repair of roads is one of the items on the agenda, IPN reports.

Prime Minister Ion Chicu had an organizational meeting centering on the assembly with mayors. Among the subjects that will be discussed with mayors are the development of the water supply and sewerage infrastructure, street lighting, pays in the local public administration and other issues of increased interest.

Premier Chicu this month will also make field trips to Ungheni and Fălești, on January 16, to Giurgiulești and Comrat, on January 23, and to Sângerei and Bălți on January 30.
