The Government decided to sell state securities to the value of 200 million lei and use the money to finish the repair of the Parliament Building, Info-Prim Neo reports. Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta said the securities will have a maturity of five years and will be bought by commercial banks by subscription. A sum of 140 million lei of the money obtained from the sale of securities will go to complete the repair works, while the other 60 million lei to outfit the offices and assembly halls of the Parliament with equipment and furniture. 91 million lei has been invested in the repair of the Parliament Building so far. The repair works on the Presidential Building will be finished in 2013, if money is found. The two state buildings were destroyed during the April 2009 protests.
