The Ukrainian Government decided to allocate 10 million hrivnas in humanitarian aid to the Republic of Moldova for alleviating the consequences of the late April snowfalls, IPN reports.

According to Interfax-Ucraina, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman considered the given decision among those approved in the May 18 meeting without submitting it for discussion.

On its website, the Ministry of Finance of Moldova placed a banner that can be accessed to follow online the process of accumulating assistance for dealing with the consequences of this April’s heavy snowfalls. The information is updated with each cash transfer to the given accounts.

A sum of 2.676 million lei has been transferred so far to the bank accounts in lei, U.S. dollars and euro.
