The executive approved the plan of activities that are to be staged on the occasion of the winter holidays with the aim of promoting people’s traditions, the national products and the tourist potential of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.

Thus, recreational, socialization, cultural and artistic education activities will be carried out between December 15, 2017 and January 15, 2018. The events will feature professional and amateur artistic groups from all over the country. Emphasis will be laid on the involvement of the national theaters, children’s theaters and theaters representing groups of national minorities.

Craftsmen will present their works and will organize sittings for transmitting the traditional techniques they promote to the young generation. In specially set up places, business entities will exhibit food and consumer products.

The activities will be financed by the central public authorities in the limits of the approved budgets.
