Grigore Vieru's bust will be placed on the Classical Writers' Alley in the central park in Chisinau on February 14, when the bard would have turned 75. Such a decision was taken by the Chisinau Council on Friday, January 26, Info-Prim Neo reports. By the same decision, the Council allocated the money needed to make the bust. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Moldova. Mayor Dorin Chirtoaca said that at one of the next meetings the Council will decide what Chisinau street to rename Grigore Vieru. He said it could be Renasterii Blvd.
