Head of state wants special commission for Taul village park

Moldova’s President Vladimir Voronin ordered the creation of a special interministerial commission that would analyze the state of the park in Taul village of Donduseni district. After paying a working visit to the village, the head of state instructed that the commission put forward proposals for restoring and developing this nature reserve until January 20, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the presidential press service. Vladimir Voronin tasked the Ministry of Construction and Territorial Development with assessing the condition of the buildings that are located in the park so that those that are of historic value be renovated. He said that there should be founded a state-owned enterprise that would administer, maintain and develop this territory. Created in 1901-1904 according to the plan of architect I.V. Vladislavschi-Padalko, the park in Taul village is the largest in Moldova and one of the largest in Southeastern Europe.
