The 35-year-old man from Drochia died from the A (H1N1) influenza virus. The cause of death was confirmed by the Minister of Health Vladimir Hotineanu at the Parliament’s sitting on November 3, Info-Prim Neo reports. The man died in the Drochia District Hospital. One day earlier, he returned from Russia and was hospitalized with flu symptoms. Thirty A (H1N1) flu virus cases have been confirmed in Moldova. Two men aged 35 and, respectively, 50 have died. Romania confirmed 555 cases of pandemic flu, but no deaths. Ukraine reported more than 200,000 cases with 70 persons dead.
