Eight settlements in the districts of Straseni, Criuleni and Cimislia were partially disconnected from the power supply in the evening of May 22. The roofs of about 20 houses in Dubasari district were damaged by the wind, IPN reports.

According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, a part of the inhabitants of Buteni and Farladeni villages of Hancesti district and of Cornesti town are not supplied with electricity. The villages Magurele and Poiana of Ungheni district and Balauresti, Seliste and Ciubesti villages of Nisporeni district also experience power outages.

Farmlands and houses were flooded in three settlements of Straseni and Dubasari districts.
