“Heroine” case will be examined by another panel to judges

The case “Heroine” was transmitted to a new panel of judges of the Chisinau Court of Appeals, at the request of the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO). A decision to this effect was taken by the Supreme Court of Justice, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the PGO. After the Botanica Court gave Corneliu Savca, Dumitru Moiseev and Cernit Murat different imprisonment terms, the Chisinau Court of Appeals decided to acquit them. Corneliu Savca and Dumitru Moiseev is accused of misconduct in office, abuse of power and falsification of public documents. Karalar Murat is charged with transporting large quantities of narcotic substances with the intention of selling them, while Cernit Murat – with favoring the offense. The Supreme Court of Justice's decision is irrevocable.
