Homeless man risks remaining without both legs after sleeping outside
Three men from Chisinau were admitted to the hospital with frostbite after they slept outside. One of them risks remaining without both of the legs.
Petru Cravet, spokesman for the National Emergency Medicine Center, has told Info-Prim Neo that the three men are homeless. One of them, aged 58, was taken from a Chisinau park. He has third-and fourth-degree frostbite of both legs and will most probably remain without them. The other men suffered first and second-degree frostbite.
According to weather forecasters, it was minus 7 degrees Celsius in Chisinau last night. Minus 13 degrees Celsius is forecast for the coming night.
