A plot that is 3.7 ha in area, located at 2/3 Gagarin St in Ialoveni, will be transferred from the town’s public property under state property with the aim of building a head office for the local firefighting and rescue unit on it.

The unit has 24 employees and two firefighting vehicles. It is now based in a humid and unsuitable building.

The Ministry of the Interior, which put forward the draft decision, said the works to erect the new building will be performed within the program to reconstruct the premises of rescuers and firefighters, which is financially supported by the United States Department of the Air Force.
