The Human Rights Film Festival continues with the movie “In America”. It will be screened at the Patria cinemas in Chisinau, Balti and Cahul on December 4, starting at 17.00, Info-Prim Neo reports. Directed by Jim Sheridan, “In America” is shown by the International Organization for Migration, which is a partner of the Festival organized by the Moldovan Institute for Human Rights. They come to Manhattan together with their two daughters, where there is a comical, thrilling, strange and simultaneously frightening universe. A bright future expects the family if they manage to overcome the past that is haunting them. The movies are focused on human rights and especially the inclusion of people with disabilities, migration, the right not to be tortured, non-discrimination, rights of people living with HIV, justice and children rights Touching films will be screened daily as part of the Festival opened on December 3. It will culminate with “All the Invisible Children”. Some of the movies will be also shown at the OSCE Mission to Moldova, Tiraspol Office during 7-9 December.
