Appointments for consular services and the payment for these will be made online through a platform on which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working together with the e-Government service and which is to be finished in three-four months, President Maia Sandu informed through Facebook Live before a meeting with the Moldovan diaspora in France, IPN reports.

The official said the facilitation of the payment methods through mPay services is also discussed. “We are considering reducing the payments for consular services and solutions for delivering the requested documents through specialized courier services. The goal is to shorten the period of time from the moment the application is filed up to the moment the document is issued. I know that it takes time, but we need documents much swifter,” stated Maia Sandu.

Recently, President Sandu issued the consular offices with a message by which she urged them to change their attitude where it is necessary for the Moldovans to witness a respectful attitude when they go to an institution of the Republic of Moldova.
