Taxpayers will have more time at their disposal to submit income statements for 2011 and pay the calculated taxes. This year the deadline for submissions is April 2, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the State Tax Service. March 24 and 31, which are Saturdays, were declared working days, with a program from 8am to 5pm. The work program on March 26-30 and April 2 will be extended until 7pm for the tax inspectors dealing with fiscal reports. After April 2, a fine of 1 000 lei will be put for not presenting income statements. The persons who will identify errors in the submitted tax returns will be able to submit corrected reports throughout the year without being penalized. This is provided by the last amendments to the Tax Code.
