The Cabinet approved the negotiation and signing of an agreement between the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation on the implementation of the project “Consolidating Moldova’s Migration and Development Institutional Framework”, stage II, IPN reports.

The agreement is designed to improve the regulatory framework and the mechanism for coordinating policies in the areas of diaspora, migration and development at national and local levels, maximizing the positive impact of migration on the socioeconomic development of the country.

To implement the project, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation will offer financial support in tranches, to the value of 4 million lei.
