The Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union Hamadoun Touré will arrive in Chisinau on May 6. He will have meetings with Prime Minister Vlad Filat, Head of Parliament Mihai Ghimpu and Minister of Information and Communication Technologies Alexandru Oleinic, Info-Prim Neo reports. The announcement was made in a news conference on May 3. Hamadoun Touré will travel to Sadova village of Calarasi district, where there will be opened one of the 20 post offices outfitted with modern equipment for public access. The project is implemented in concert with the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies and the International Telecommunication Union. In another connection, Minister Alexandru Oleinic informed he will leave for Moscow to take part in the 42nd session of the Board of RCC (Regional Communication Commonwealth) Communications Administrations Heads that will be held during May 8-9. The 15th meeting of the RCC Coordination Council for Informatization will take place in the same period.
