The seventh international water polo tournament began at the Specialized Sports School No. 4 in Chisinau on September 23. The competition is dedicated to Master of Sports Alexandru Boltramovici, emeritus coach of Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. At the opening ceremony, the participants were welcomed and encouraged by the coach of the national squad Mihail Nagornai, the secretary general of the Water Polo Federation of Moldova Valeriu Melnicov and other officials. The competition was organized with support from the Chisinau City Hall, the Water Polo Federation of Moldova, the Sports School for Children and Youth for Olympic Reserves “Delfin” and the Sports Club “Neptun”. Six teams from Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine will take part in this year's tournament. Moldova will be represented by the Under-14 and Under-16 national teams.
