Internet Connection Day marked on March 4
The Internet Connection Day celebrated on March 4 aims to connect all the people living in European countries to the Internet, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Alliance of Community Information Access and Training Centers, which is implementing the project in Moldova.
“The initiative is aimed at connecting the digitally excluded persons to the Internet, informing the mass media and those interested about the advantages of digital inclusion, promoting and increasing the use of telecenters all over Europe,” it is said in the communique. At least 20 European countries and 500 telecenters are expected to take part in the event.
Community centers of the Alliance of Community Information Access and Training Centers this week will stage different events, including screenings, training seminars, consultations and demonstrations to contribute to reduced digital division in Moldova.
