Starting with October 26, the persons who travelled to Moldova during the past 14 days will be able to enter Italy only for work reasons, for absolute urgency, for health or study reasons, for returning home, at the domicile or residence. It happens so because Moldova was struck off List D by an order of the Ministry of Health of Italy, IPN reports.
Moldova’s Embassy in Italy said that among the conditions when entering Italy or when returning from Moldova to Italy are the filling out of the Digital Passenger Locator Form and presentation of a certificate showing the negative result of a molecular or antigen COVID-19 test done within 72 hours prior to the entry into Italy. The vaccine certificates as an alternative to the test are not accepted.
It is also mandatory to self-isolate at the address indicated in the Digital Passenger Locator Form for a period of ten days by informing the territorial health authorities and doing an additional test at the end of this period.
Children younger than six are exempted from performing a molecular or antigen test.
The new travel conditions are valid for the period until Decembers 15.
