Joint dialogue platform for female MPs resumed its activity

The joint platform for dialogue for female Members of Parliament convened on Tuesday, November 26, in the first meeting in the new format. During the event, the Speaker of the Parliament, Zinaida Greceanîi, said that the platform must introduce important legislative initiatives for the citizens, first of all in the field of social protection, so that people can feel the usefulness of the activity of women in Parliament.

The meeting was attended by Swedish ambassador Anna Lyberg, UNDP resident representative in Moldova Dima Al-Khatib, and UN Women interim country representative Milana Rikanovic.

In a Parliament press release it is mentioned that the participants of the Platform have received assurances from development partners to receive all the necessary support in order to facilitate the Platform's activity.
