Bender Appeals Court judge Nicolae Nogai, who was accused of passing an illegal decision allowing purchasing shares in BC “Moldova-Agroindbank” SA, was acquitted by the Causeni Court on April 25, IPN reports.

The criminal case against Nicolae Nogai was stent to court in 2012. He was suspended from post by the Supreme Council of Magistrates for the period of the investigation.

The prosecutors announced they will appeal the decision of the Causeni Court to a higher court.
