President Nicolae Timofti signed a decree to dismiss Vasile Ghetu from the post of judge of the Edinet Court, IPN reports, quoting a communiqué from the presidential press service.

The decree, issued in accordance with the Law on the Status of Judge, provides that the judge is discharged because he is evidently unsuitable for the post held. This was determined as a result of the assessment of his performance.

Earlier, the press reported that Vasile Ghetu has the reputation of a person with inappropriate behavior. In 2011-2012, he regularly shouted, insulted and was aggressive and rude to the participants in trials.
