An initiative group for defending and promoting the national values that consists of intellectuals from different fields argues against the adoption of the Law on Guaranteeing of Equality. Members of the group consider that this bill is dangerous and represents a serious attack on the Moldovan people, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Expert in strategic management Viorel Ciubotaru told a news conference that the bill aroused the dissatisfaction of many social groups. If Parliament passes this law on May 25, not only the Government’s, but also the Parliament’s homosexual vocation will vote, abusing the trust of those who gave their votes to the lawmakers. “We consider that this law disfigures us as persons and as a people. This happens to a person who loses discernment and cannot distinguish between good and evil. This law suggests considering evil as a variety of the good, while the lie as a variety of the truth,” stated Viorel Ciubotaru.
Film director Vlad Druc said this bill that seems a matter related to non-violence and the human rights will soon produce an inevitable chain reaction. “I’m here because I have a very certain presentiment that, if we adopt this law, we will open another door of Pandora’s Box for the future generation, for our children and our people,” he said.
Psychologist Vitalie Pastuh-Cubolteanu said that when this law is passed and the visa regime liberalized, all the young people who do not see their future in Moldova will go abroad. “The law will legalize homosexuality. Many persons will leave and those who will not have a natural partner will resort to perversity, but perversity does not allow continuing the race,” he said. He added that the students in schools will be told about the correctness of homosexuality, while the parents will not be able to protest because the law imposes punishment on those who do not agree with perversion.
Writer Ion Vicol considers that the law poses risks to the Christian cult, marriage and adoption. “We convinced ourselves of this while following the homosexuals abroad. Firstly, they asked for an antidiscrimination law and then started to stage gay parades. Afterward, the authorities allowed homosexual practices in schools and marriages between homosexuals and adoptions by them,” he said. According to the writer, this law allows destroying the families and the nation. “There will be chaos in the country after this law is passed. There will be many orphans, traitors and homeless persons. I think this law is a serious attack on our people,” said Ion Vicol.
The bill on guaranteeing of equality was approved by the Government on May 23 and is to be debated in Parliament on May 25.
