The interdepartmental commission for humanitarian aid decided to renew the lists of recipients of humanitarian aid as there are settlements that receive assistance during several years in a row, while others do not benefit from such aid, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the January 31 meeting of the commission, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Moldovanu said that the local and district organizations that deal with the compilation of lists of recipients must be managed by the mayor’s offices too as they know better the situation of the families for whom the humanitarian aid is intended. Mihai Moldovanu also said the composition of the working group that distributes humanitarian aid should be modified. According to him, the responsible persons in some of the settlements are named according to their political affiliation. He proposed that the working group should include representatives of civil society.
