Local Antiterrorist Council to be set up in Moldova

A Local Antiterrorist Council that will manage terrorist crises will be created in Moldova. This will include heads of district councils, local representatives of the Security and Intelligence Service, the General Police Inspectorate and the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service. An Antiterrorism Operational Command will be set up to conduct antiterrorist operations. The provisions are contained in a bill on the prevention and fighting of terrorism that was passed by Parliament in the final reading, IPN reports.
