The president of the Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) Maia Sandu most probably will run not only on the list of the future electoral bloc, but also in a single-member constituency in the upcoming parliamentary elections. She made such an announcement in the program “Fourth power” on N4 TV channel, IPN reports.

“I should go through the integrity filter first and will later tell you for sure. Now I’m a candidate in constituency X,” stated Maia Sandu.

The PAS leader noted she was assured in Brussels and in the U.S. that the next parliamentary elections will be monitored as never before by the development partners. “There will be many and large missions before the elections and on the election day. Everyone realizes that a fraud is being hatched. We should do our best and mobilize as those from outside can help us only when we demonstrate we want to live in a democratic state,” stated the politician.

According to her, the Democratic Party showed what it intends to do by annulling the local mayoral elections in the municipality of Chisinau. This will help the bloc to be more prepared for the upcoming elections.
