The road fund this year will be 1.079 billion lei, by 55 million lei larger than in 2012, according to the state budget law. Of this sum, 1.059 billion lei will go to maintain public roads, Info-Prim Neo repots, quoting the road fund utilization program approved by the Government. More than 732 million lei will be allocated for the national roads, while 327 million lei for the local roads. The road designing and evaluation works were assessed at 18 million lei. A sum of 35 million lei will be used to purchase 50 road cleanup vehicles, three modern scales that are installed in asphalt and five snowplows. After the state budget is adjusted, the road fund may rise to 1.235 billion lei. In 2012 it was 1.024 billion lei.
