A man and a woman were crushed to death in road accidents in the evening of December 5, Info-Prim Neo reports. The 50-year-old man was from Balti. He was struck by a Volkswagen driven by a man aged 26. According to the Traffic Police Division, the pedestrian was jaywalking. He died on the spot. The second fatal accident happened in Cimislia town. The woman aged 52 was also jaywalking and the 56-year-old driver did not manage to brake. She died before the ambulance arrived. The police are investigating the cases.
