A man aged 56 from a suburb of Chisinau died yesterday at home before the ambulance arrived. The doctors found signs of violence on his body, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Evelina Rusu, managing doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, the ambulance was called by the man's female partner. She told the doctors that the man was beaten brutally with an iron bar on Sunday. He fell sick, but did not want to see a doctor. His state worsened the next days and he died on Wednesday, August 11. An investigation is underway. The body of a homeless man of about 50 was found at the terminus of trolleybus route No. 22 on Alba Iulia St in Chisinau on August 11. The police did not detect signs of violent death. The body was taken to the morgue.
