A Chisinau man was arrested after stealing charity boxes from three malls in which donations were collected for children in orphanages and boarding schools, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the General Police Commissariat, it is believed that the boxes contained roughly 20,000 lei. The suspect, 31, admitted during interrogation that he already spent part of the money. If he is found guilty in court, the man could get up to 4 years in prison.
