Man killed in road accident involving ambulance
A man lost his life in a traffic accident on the Donduseni-Drochia-Pelinia road in the evening of January 2. The car he was driving overturned and crashed into an ambulance coming from the opposite direction.
Aurelia Mija, inspector of the Traffic Police Division’s PR Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the driver, 37, was from Suri village. The three persons who traveled on his car, including a boy aged 15, sustained different injuries.
There was no patient in the ambulance. The driver and the medical staff were unhurt.
In another road accident in Donduseni the same evening, a 55-year-old bicyclist was killed when he was struck by a vehicle that went out of control.
