A man from Batir village of Cimislia district was arrested by the police on suspicion that he beat his female partner aged 33 to death, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Ministry of the Interior, on the night of December 4 at about 1am, employees of the Cimislia Police Commissariat were informed that the body of a woman was lying near a house in Batir. The police established that the only suspect was the woman’s male partner aged 43. When questioned by the police, the man admitted his guilt. He said he was jealous and he suspected that the woman was cheating on him. The man is under arrest and is investigated for causing serious bodily injuries to a person that resulted in death.
