A man was sentenced to 15 years in jail on charges of human trafficking and pimping, Info-Prim Neo learned from a press release of the Prosecutor General’s Office. According to prosecutors, between November 2010 and May 2011, the 58-year-old man took advantage on the vulnerable situation of three girls from different districts of the country, including two minors, recruited them for commercial sexual exploitation and brought them to Chisinau, where he forced them into prostitution. In the same period, he encouraged and determined into prostitution six other young women, aged between 20 and 30. The court sentence is subject to appeal.
