The police arrested a 23-year-old man who threatened to detonate what he claimed to be a grenade, outside a trade unit near La Izvor Lake. The object in his hand was tossed into the lake to avoid any casualties in case of explosion, Info-Prim Neo learned from Vitalie Bologan, deputy chief of the Public Order Division of the Buiucani Police Commissariat. The incident happened last night, July 13, at about 11 PM. The man is in custody for 72 hours. The police will recover the object to verify if it was really a grenade.
