A branch of Victoriabank in Chisinau’s Rascani district was robbed in the middle of the day by a person with an anti-flu mask on the face. It happened at 16.10, when only the cashier and the guard were inside, Tudor Capatana, spokesman for the General Police Commiserate, has told Info-Prim Neo. The robber threatened them with a gun, stole the 13,500 lei available in the safe and disappeared. The police immediately launched the plan “Siren” and hope to catch the robber soon as they have a number or clues. One hour earlier, a dead newborn was found in a polyethylene bag near a garbage bin in Rascani district. The body was found by two children, who were playing in the yard of a block on Branistei Street. An investigation is underway.
