Mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban said that he didn’t do the COVID-19 test because he does not have symptoms of infection, but will do it if need be, IPN reports.

He told a news conference that the Chisinau City Hall has 147 employees, 25 of whom are on leave. Another 40 employees work under a special regime, each in their own office, and do not interact physically.

There are 44 virtual groups within which the functionaries hold meetings and have discussions online so as to avoid the spread of the infection.  

As from March 17, the Chisinau City Hall and its subdivisions work behind closed doors.
