National Army soldiers built a heavy mechanical bridge TMM-3M to ensure access to Cotul Morii village of Hancesti district so as to hasten the transportation of flood victims' possessions, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Ministry of Defense. The local bridge was damaged by floodwaters. About 40 soldiers of the Cahul-based brigade “Dacia” are helping the locals to fill sacks with clay. The barrage in Gheltosu village, Cantemir, is being reinforced. Soldiers of the National Army are building an additional 200-meter-long dam to pump the water to the opposite site of the barrage in Nemteni village, Hancesti. Military men reinforced the barrage near Oancea customs office in Cahul district with over 1,000 sacks of sand and the dam in Tiganca village of Cantemir with over 1,000 sacks of clay to protect the locals from floods.
